Estima o risco de hemorragia major em doentes sob anticoagulação, para avaliar o risco-benefício do tratamento na fibrilhação auricular.

Classificação de risco de hemorragia major: corresponde à % de hemorragias por 100 doentes-ano.
0 -1 pontos: Baixo risco (1,1%).
2 pontos: Risco intermédio (1,9%).
≥ 3 pontos: Alto risco (4,9%).
